I have only had a privilege to attend The Masters at Augusta National once in my life so far and it was probably the best golf tournament I have ever been to. The grounds are beautiful, the course is plush, the azaleas are blooming and the experience is top notch. If you ever have the chance to attend such a prestigious event, jump on it!
Unfortunately, I do not have any photos from attending because there are no phones allowed on property and I didn’t take any photos before or after but I do have some images of me at other golf tournaments. To see those pictures, check them out here: What to Wear to a Golf Tournament
Now that you understand The Masters a bit more, let’s talk about what to wear. Even though it is a sporting event, it is still a well known and prestigious occasion. You can go 2 different ways in my opinion – casual & sporty or dressy. Ladies are dressed in everything from spring dresses to rompers to shorts and button downs to skorts to traditional golf clothes.
While I love fashion as much as the next person, I would recommend wearing something casual and comfortable that is neat and put together. I wore golf shorts, a polo, sneakers, a hat and brought a rain jacket in case of inclement weather. The course might look flat on TV but it is far from it. So if you are planning on walking at all, it will be a bit of a workout. If I can give you ONE tip for attending The Masters, it would be to wear comfy sneakers.
