The trend I am loving right now is the cut out bootie. It is the perfect piece for the transition from summer to fall. The cut outs add a bit of flare while still letting your ankles breathe till the temperatures actually drop.

When it comes to “trendy” items, I don’t like to spend too much on items. With that being said, I have a feeling that these cut out booties will be in a style for some time. The are classic but a bit of sass and the perfect transition piece for different seasons: summer to fall, winter to spring. Spoiler Alert! I am leaning toward getting the Universal Standard Cut Out Bootie from Target. I love the cognac color, the small heel and sleek style.
