Are you trying to be more productive in the morning? Ever since that silly groundhog said that there will be 6 more weeks of winter (which I have a hard time believing) I have been having trouble getting extra motivated. So I have been looking for ways to have a more productive day.
So I did some research to see what other accomplished men and women do to start their mornings. I found out a lot of great information and was able to narrow it down to 5 things that I am going to do and what I think anyone could do if they would want to have a productive day.
1. Get in Motion // Get your day started with a little exercise or even just a stretch. It is important to wake up the body as well as waking up the mind in order to get your day ready. There are so many different options these day; go for a walk, do some yoga or get in a full workout.
2. Read Something Motivational for 30 Minutes // Just like I said above, it is important to get your mind ready for the day as well as the body. Start your mornings by exercising your mind with some motivational. It can be anything you want.
3. Write Out a Daily To-Do List // This is something I absolutely love doing. I am a list making so making to-do lists to start my day made me very happy!
4. Set Deadlines to Your Goals // Writing out the to-do list might seem easy, but setting (and making) those deadlines is the hard part. But it is essential to make those deadlines so that you have a sense of urgency to get things done.
5. Give Yourself a Goal Every Day // With so many things to accomplish during the day, it is important to set a goal for yourself for each day. This will help you stay motivated for sure.
So in conclusion, I hate to say it but the world’s most successful people don’t sleep in. They just don’t roll out of bed and start their work day. The morning hours are very valuable and it is important we make the most of the them. My personal routine is just one of many so do some research and see what works for you!
