I love reading but I am guilty for not giving myself time during the day to spend some time reading a good book. So last year I tried making a promise with myself… I was going to read a book a month. I can finally report back to you… I read 16 books in 2022! Now that might not seem like a lot (or maybe it does) but this was a big accomplishment for me. It was less than last year so maybe I need to make 2023 more of a priority with reading.

So lets dive in and check out what I read in 2022…

The Best Books (In My Opinion)

These were 100% my favorite books that I read in 2022. The Hotel Nantucket by Elin Hilderbrand was definitely at the top of the list. Erin Hilderbrand is one of my fave authors and this book was superb. MY second favorite books I read this year was a book I wasn’t expecting to love so much. Project Hail Mary by Andy Weir was amazing and I wish I could read it again for the first time. My third fave book I read this year was Beach Read by Emily Henry. This was such an easy read and it left me wanting more from this author.

if I am being completely honest, I did not read too many books that I didn’t love.There were maybe two or three that weren’t my absolute favorite but I did finish reading them.
