athleisure on the course

Letā€™s get real for a quick second. There are just some days where you just really want to get to the course or the range. Ā And that means that we are running from wherever we were to get there in whatever we are wearing. Thankfully athleisure has made it easier to be fashionable while we are running errands & make it easier to pop on over to the course. So I wanted to figure out an appropriate way to take athleisure on the course.

I still remember the days where I was going through multiple outfits to try and juggle my style between class, work, golf & workouts. Now workout clothes are so cute that you can basically wear them everywhere!

3 RULES TO FOLLOW

But there are some rules that you should follow when incorporating athleisure into your wardrobe. Check them out below!

Rule #1 Accessorize Appropriately

Try not to go crazy with the accessories. I think that mirrored sunglasses or a leather jacket are classic when trying to ā€œdress upā€ your workout clothes.

Rule #2 Stick to Neutrals

It is okay to go a bit crazy sometimes but try to stick to neutrals as much as you can. Or at least have one piece that is a neutral. I like to stick to my black leggings and add a fun top in either a print, bright color or stripe.

Rule #3 Mix & Match

Invest in your pieces wisely. Go for a great black legging from Lululemon and then mix & match with other fun seasonal pieces.

MY FAVORITE ATHLEISURE BRANDS

To be honest, I wear a lot of different brands on (& off) the course, Ā but I do have a bunch of favorites that I have stuck with since the beginning.

Lululemon has been a favorite of mine since I bought my first pair of leggings over 6 years ago. I have also branched out to their skorts which are a huge hit whenever I have a long day on the range.

The material is great for all 4 seasons & the fit is amazing. I do have one tip for the skorts – if you have anything but short legs, you might want to make sure you get the “tall” version of every skirt. The skirts are a bit short but they make up with comfort.

Another athleisure brand that I absolutely love would be Athleta. Athleta is a great brand that also has a Tennis & Golf section on their site. There is a great selection of polo’s, skorts, shorts, jackets & layering tees.

Like the one to the right, I love their polo’s. They are super light, comfortable & they have a bunch of color options. The jacket & vest selection is also amazing. I absolutely love wearing their vests.

But if you are looking for something a little easier on the wallet, check out Target’s line. They have great activewear that can be used on & off the course. And if you are looking for more of an investment piece, Hedge-Quarters has traditional and elegant pieces that will look amazing on and off the course. They have amazing dresses, skirts & blazers that are truly one-of-a-kind Ā items that will make any outfit classy.

I hope that you liked the pieces that I have shared in this post on athleisure on the course. The items range from every price range so check out any of the links and learn more about them. For more posts like this one, check out my Golf page. Thanks for reading!
