I love to travel — but seriously, who doesn’t? Visiting friends, exploring new cities, and taking time to myself is honestly the best. I can honestly say I am happy living out of my suitcase. I have done it for years and years — being a golfer I was always on the road in high school & college.
There are only a few things that I don’t love about traveling — long security lines, sick strangers sitting next to you on the plane are just to name a few.
Guess what? I am here to help! I am sharing my favorite travel essentials that I swear by and use for every trip. Not only does it make traveling easier but it also makes it more enjoyable. Check out my favorites below!
carry on luggage
The perfect carry on has finally been found. Well it has been around for some time now but I finally got my hands on an Away bag and I am obsessed!
This genius suitcase has a USB port built into it that will charge your electronics for you, which means no more sitting on the airport ground outside of the bathroom at the only available outlet.
It is also very light so it is not super hard to get it over your head and into the overhead compartments.
Packing Cubes
One of the biggest challenges I have when traveling is getting everything I want to bring in one bag. And it is not just about the size of the bag… well maybe it is but I do tend to overpack and these packing cubes help me with that!
Not only do they help with packing but also with the unpacking part as well. Everything is organized into each cube and can be found with ease.
classic tote
The classic tote is hard to find. I find that it is completely based on the person and its uses. But this tote from MZ WALLACE seems to be the perfect tote for almost everyone.

travel wallet
One of the best purchases I have ever made was a large travel wallet. I have found that traveling has been made so much easier when everything can be put together and found faster.
This waller has the capabilities to carry all your credit cards, a lot of cash plus your passport if you need it. And it can easily fit into any bag — just  like the classic tote above!
The travel wallet is probably one of my favorite travel essentials and I have it with me all the time.

Ever have problems looking for that one product at the bottom of your travel makeup bag?
This makeup bag from Vera Bradley is one of my favorites because it allows for everything to be seen. You’ll be able to see everything you brought with you, and will avoid your foundation opening and leaking all over everything you brought.
heat resistant pouch
This pouch has come in handy so many different times for me. Whether I am traveling or heading on a road trip, this heat resistant pouch is great to have in a pinch!
This pouch will carry your hot tools so they don’t need to be hanging out through your carry-on. It’s heat resistant, so it’s perfect for being on-the-go.

Suitcases and carry-ons mean wrinkly clothes — no matter how you fold them.
I don’t know about you but I HATE using hotel irons & ironing boards. I would rather go out a wrinkly mess than have to use one. This travel steamer has made my life so much easier, especially when traveling.

A portable charger is an absolute must for travel.
