coconut macaroons

these classic and sweet cookies are a coconut lover's dream!

Ingredients

  • 5 ½ cups sweetened coconut
  • cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces)
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  • in a large bowl, stir together flour, coconut, and salt
  • stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla until well blended.
  • line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray the parchment with non-stick cooking spray
  • scoop 1 tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the baking sheet
  • bake at 350℉ for 12-15 minutes until the cookies are set and the coconut is toasted
  • when baked, immediately remove cookies from the baking sheet and place on a rack to cool
